The Tourist Board of Vodice in November has expanded their network of bicycle paths in the area, now totaling to 10 cycling paths.

Well maintained, marked and open to all cycling fans is the new track "Gaćelezi – Dragišići – Čista”. The cost of decorating the path was 20,000 kuna and the project was co-financed by the Croatian National Tourist Board who used funds allocated to support projects in disadvantaged areas, reports HRTurizam on 8 December, 2016.

Beginning at the start of the town, this circular trail is a total of 35.5 kilometers, now bringing Vodice a total of 10 cycling tracks.

"The combination of road foundation, soil and mountainous terrain is ideal for discovering the beauty of the surrounding fields and villages in the hinterland of the town. Along with the pleasant bike ride, we recommend a visit to complement the unique ambience with some Dalmatian smoked ham from Roca, which is located near the tracks,” stated the Tourist Board of Vodice.

The Vodice environment is interwoven with a network of about 100 km of road and mountain biking trails. The trails are mostly easy and customized for recreational cyclists, with the pride of the town being the trail "Orlov krug", which since 1999 has hosted the World Cup MTB XCO. It is also one of the most attractive and most challenging mountain biking trails in Croatia.

It is also important to point out that as part of the development of cycling tourism in the area of the town, there are two companies that perform service for bicycles, three companies that offer bicycle rentals, and a travel agency that offers cycling trips and tours. The trails are marked and complete with restaurants, such as the house for Dalmatian smoked ham, Roca.
