Route description:
Start at the parking lot of Bauhaus store in Split. Take the road to Solin and the large crossing. Go left on the gravel road and enter the Salona area. Through Salona to the amphitheatre you can enjoy in mountain cycling with a view of Roman archeological site and ride the amphitheatre like a gladiator on your bike. From there head uphill to the main road. Left on the main road and follow it several hundred metres to a turnoff right to the large cement plant storage and arrive at its south wall. Follow the south wall to the storage and across the meadow to neighbouring houses. Circle around the northern side and climb the asphalt heading west. After that head right uphill to the quarry. Circle around the west side and take the gravel road to the cemetery. Before the cemetery go right up a cemented road. At the top of the road go right on a firemen’s road. There are several bends in the beginning and after that it heads west uphill to the Putalj mountain lodge. From the lodge keep on the firemen’s road to the Malačka road. Take to road to the Malačka overpass. Back the same way, but continue on the road to the seaside and don’t go back to the firemen’s road. Cross the fast road and descend to the sea. Take the coastal road to Kaštel Gomilica where you have to join the so-called old road. Along the old road is a band of gravel you can ride to the large intersection in Solin. From the crossing in Solin right on the old road to Split and after the Vranjic turnoff go left and then right to the Bauhaus parking.
