In the past several years cycling traffic in Zagreb County has been gaining importance, with the large offer of cycling paths and routes in the county able to satisfy a wide spectrum of recreational cyclists of all ages. Besides the existing 13 editions of cycling path maps (with a total length of 1.317 kilometres), in the last two years the Tourism Board of Zagreb County created new cyclo-tourism routes: Sava Route, with a total length of 87,59 kilometres (which includes the Lake Route, Bird and Turtle Route, Wooden Bridges Route), Waterfalls Route 47,79 kilometres long and the Zagreb Route 41,06 kilometres in length. All routes are available on the mobile cycling application of Zagreb County ZG Bike, along with additional content (catering, accommodation, attractions).
The project of Vision Tourism and Vision One mobile applications aims to network all participants in tourism of continental Croatia and has begun cooperation with seven counties of middle Croatia (Zagreb, Krapina-Zagorje, Sisak-Moslavina, Varaždin, Koprivnica-Križevci, Karlovac and Međimurje) with the goal of encompassing this year the remaining seven in continental Croatia. The application combines various categories of interest and can aid users in finding various content and connect with what they need.
